Main goals of Design Hub Varna
The association was established with the aim of supporting the aspiration of Varna to assert its authority in the cultural and economic space of Bulgaria, the Black Sea region and the world. In this sense, "Design Hub Varna" strives: to serve as a focal center of synthesis of science and art for the purpose of scientific and industrial research for the creation, development and implementation of leading, innovative technologies in products and real applications; to serve as a link between young specialists and Bulgarian and foreign companies, scientific organizations, projects and programs; to support and develop design education; to organize and conduct public events related to the promotion of design such as exhibitions, festivals, exhibitions and others; to establish scholarships for higher education of youth in the fields of design and architecture; to work to improve the material base - a new learning environment (innovative laboratories and workshops for practical training of students, specialists, doctoral students, students and children); to finance bilingual editions of books, articles, textbooks, studies promoting knowledge in the cultural field and advertising Varna and the region; to stimulate the start of the competition for the design of urban and natural spaces; to attract and unite the efforts of related organizations for the implementation of generally useful cultural causes.
Concept and philosophy
The main focus of everything that forms the philosophy of Design Hub Varna is to keep talented young people here. The idea is to select and engage some of the most capable and young specialists in a center for the synthesis of art, technology and science. A center where industrial design specialists are complemented by cybernetics, robotics and programming specialists. Thus, it becomes possible for trends in the development of renewable energy technologies, artificial intelligence and the science of creating new materials to be complemented by design innovations in the context of an overall circular economy. All this will be collected in a single center for the production of a mental product. A product developed together with the development teams of established international companies. They will gain experience in working on European and national programs and projects. The ultimate goal is for them to gain the self-confidence, experience and skills they will need tomorrow to create strong Bulgarian and global brands in various fields of design and technology. Our aspiration is Design Hub Varna to be part of the movement towards new morality and nobility in social relationships with a view to sustainable development of our society.
Perspectives
Design Hub Varna (DHV) has ambitions and potential to become a multidisciplinary cultural and technological center with its own creative and scientific campus, with research laboratories and prototype testing grounds, event and conference halls.
The construction of a wide partnership network between the DHC and local, regional, European and global organizations with related activities is one of the main goals laid down in the very idea of creating the association.
Another important task that DHV sets before itself is the initiation and organization of the international event for art, design and technology Design Expo Varna, which should become one of the largest forums and the brightest celebration of design in Bulgaria. The event will also include an award-winning design competition, conferences and workshops, awarding design scholarships to the most talented students.

Functions
Design Hub Varna was created as a training and support center for young professionals by providing its own environment for the creation and development of specialized start-up companies. In addition, the DHA was created to serve as a focal point for collecting, processing and providing accessible information on specific projects and design orders to the professional communities of designers, architects and scientists, with the aim of forming appropriate and strong teams to implement each specific task. The center will create and develop its database and facilitate the finding of suitable contractors, manufacturers and suppliers of goods and services for the implementation of each project. DHV will design and offer its own products to support its overall business.
